Idaho Power defines a Property Manager as a person who is responsible to manage the rental of a property on behalf of themselves or others. Enrolling a property in the Continuous Service program ensures that Idaho Power will automatically transfer the financial responsibility for the electric service to the Property Manager's name when a tenant notifies Idaho Power they are discontinuing service. When this occurs, the electricity remains on at the property and all future billings are sent to the Property Manager.
Property Managers are charged a $15 fee each time a service in Idaho is changed from the tenant's responsibility to the Property Manager's responsibility. This charge helps defray the cost of providing this special service available only to Property Managers and helps us meet our customer's expectations for fair process and reliable electric service.
In addition to transferring service into a Property Manager's name, participation in the Continuous Service program provides:
Continuous Service requires prompt payment of all bills. To remain an active participant, Property Managers must remit payment for electric service within 15 days of billing. Otherwise, all properties managed by the Property Manager will become ineligible for Continuous Service.
Please note that any property removed from Continuous Service either due to delinquent payments or at the Property Manager's request, will become ineligible for Continuous Service for one full year.
